Jenna Hendricksen, LMFT is an empathic and accepting therapist who believes therapy should provide a positive space in which clients feel safe.  She works with individuals, couples, and families and specializes in helping clients surmount life transitions, manage trauma, reduce anxiety and depression, and transcend relational issues.  Jenna also has wide-ranging experience working with people on the autism spectrum in both behavioral (ABA) and family therapy.  

Jenna has extensive training in emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and integrates these methods with mindfulness practices.  She is certified in the use of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), an efficient treatment for trauma and other painful experiences. Jenna also holds a certification in Prepare/Enrich premarital counseling, the number one premarital and marriage assessment for more than thirty-five years. 

Jenna has counseled a diverse clientele in many settings, including schools and homes, and continues to welcome patients from varied backgrounds to her practice. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Auburn University and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from La Salle University.
